I recently came across an article about The Rarest Dog Breeds People Don’t Know About, and it made me think about how many unique breeds exist that most people never hear about. For example, I once heard someone mention a black golden retriever, which sparked a lot of debate about whether it’s a real breed or just a color variation.

What rare or unusual dog breeds have you come across that people might not know about? Do you think some of these rare variations deserve more recognition, or should we focus on the well established breeds?
