In 2025, internet speeds are faster than ever, but not all converters take advantage of it. Some YouTube to MP4 Convert tools still feel painfully slow, especially when downloading long videos or multiple files at once.

From my experience, desktop apps tend to be quicker than browser-based ones, but they also require installation and updates. Online tools are more convenient but can struggle with speed during peak hours.
